Add webhooks for approved icons
You can register an HTTPS endpoint and receive a signed POST each time an icon is approved and its files are ready.
I added webhook subscriptions to the API, so you no longer have to poll search to find new icons. Register an endpoint with POST /api/v1/webhooks/subscribe and it receives an icon.approved event when an icon is approved. The event includes links to the low-res PNG, .icns, iOS PNG and Apple .icon bundle.
The subscribe response returns a whsec_… signing secret once. Each delivery carries an x-macosicons-signature header you can verify with HMAC-SHA256. GET /api/v1/webhooks lists your subscriptions with their delivery health. POST /api/v1/webhooks/{id}/test sends a signed test delivery, and DELETE /api/v1/webhooks/{id} removes a subscription.
Each delivery is tried up to 3 times. A subscription is switched off after 15 failed deliveries in a row. There is no re-enable call, so delete it and subscribe again once your endpoint works. Targets must be public https URLs. Every active subscription receives every approved icon, not only your own. The developers page has the full reference and a signature verifier you can copy.
