Keep processed approvals when the mask panel closes early

The mask panel used to emit the processed PNG only after the mask finished, from inside the popover. Closing it first unmounted the panel, so the approval never went through and the icon stayed pending.

The panel now hands over the pending image on click. The card shows the approval spinner while the mask finishes in the background, and the processed image is applied when it lands.
